Event Terms and Purchase Policy
Effective Date: July 2026
At Sobremesa, every gathering is thoughtfully designed with intention, care, and a deep respect for the people who gather around our table.
The following Event Terms & Purchase Policy is intended to create clarity for our guests while protecting the integrity of each experience. By purchasing a ticket or attending a Sobremesa event, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Reservations
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed.
Each reservation is valid only for the number of seats purchased.
Reservations may not be resold for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Sobremesa.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of reservation unless otherwise stated.
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and are subject to applicable taxes and processing fees where required.
Ticket Policy
Tickets are issued for a specific event and date and may not be transferred to another event unless approved in writing by Sobremesa.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another guest by providing written notice at least forty-eight (48) hours before the event.
The original purchaser remains responsible for communicating any dietary information for the new guest.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because every Sobremesa event is intentionally intimate and menus are prepared specifically for each gathering, all ticket purchases are considered final.
Tickets are non-refundable.
If you cannot attend, you may transfer your reservation to another guest in accordance with the Ticket Policy above.
If Sobremesa maintains a waitlist and can resell your reservation, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit less any applicable processing fees. This accommodation is not guaranteed.
Event Changes
Sobremesa reserves the right to modify menus, wines, beverages, chefs, speakers, locations, schedules, or other event details when necessary due to seasonal availability, ingredient quality, weather, supplier limitations, or unforeseen circumstances.
These changes are made with the intention of preserving the quality and integrity of the experience and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Seasonal Menus
Our menus celebrate the seasons and are guided by relationships with local farmers, artisans, and producers.
Because ingredients are sourced based on freshness and availability, menu items may change without notice.
Dietary Accommodations
We are pleased to accommodate many dietary preferences and food allergies whenever possible.
Requests must be submitted at the time of reservation or no later than seven (7) days before the event.
While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that meals will be free from cross-contact with common allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and sesame.
Guests with severe allergies should carefully consider this risk before attending.
Seating
Many Sobremesa experiences feature communal dining designed to encourage conversation and connection.
Specific seating requests cannot be guaranteed.
Guests attending together should make every effort to purchase tickets under the same reservation.
We will gladly consider seating requests whenever reasonably possible.
Arrival
Guests are encouraged to arrive fifteen (15) minutes before the published start time.
To preserve the flow of the experience, service may begin promptly at the scheduled time.
Late arrivals may miss portions of the event, and accommodations may not be possible.
Guest Conduct
Sobremesa is committed to creating a welcoming and respectful environment for every guest.
We reserve the right to refuse service or ask a guest to leave without refund if behavior is disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated, unsafe, or otherwise interferes with the experience of others.
Photography & Media
From time to time, Sobremesa or its authorized representatives may photograph or record portions of public events for promotional, editorial, or archival purposes.
By attending a public Sobremesa event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs or video recordings used by Sobremesa.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify a member of our team upon arrival, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
Alcohol
Guests consuming alcoholic beverages are expected to do so responsibly.
Sobremesa reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest at its sole discretion.
Guests are responsible for arranging safe transportation when consuming alcohol.
Force Majeure
Sobremesa shall not be responsible for delays, postponements, or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, labor disruptions, transportation interruptions, power outages, venue closures, or supply chain limitations.
If an event must be postponed or canceled for these reasons, Sobremesa may, at its discretion, offer a rescheduled date, event credit, or refund.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sobremesa shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from attendance at or participation in any event.
Guests voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with attending a dining experience.
Governing Law
These Terms & Purchase Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located within the State of Texas.
Changes to This Policy
Sobremesa reserves the right to update these Event Terms & Purchase Policy at any time.
The most current version will always be available on our website.
